Tile refinishing
VCT Stripping, Sealing and Waxing in Lewisville, TX
Hard tile brought back to a deep gloss, with the next refinish planned before this one wears out.
Planning the Cycle
Every tile floor runs on a cycle whether anyone plans it or not. Fresh finish looks great, wears down in the traffic lanes, collects ground-in dirt and eventually goes dull and amber. The difference is whether you catch it on schedule or after it looks bad. We work out the cycle from your traffic: a busy school corridor or retail entrance may need refinishing twice a year, a quiet office hallway far less, with burnishing in between to stretch the gloss. The job itself runs in a fixed order. Chairs and mats come out. Corner buildup gets hand work. A stripping solution loosens the worn layers, a floor machine lifts them and the mess is vacuumed and rinsed off. Sealer goes down, then several coats of finish, each allowed to dry. Once cured, the floor is burnished at high speed for a hard shine. Crews book the work into nights or weekends, keeping every hallway open while you trade. Schools, churches, retail and offices around Lewisville all run on this kind of cycle.
